Question new 1600 watt power supplies

EVGA SuperNOVA 220-P2-1600-X1 1600W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready 80 PLUS Platinum Certified SLI Ready CrossFire Ready Full Modular Power Supply 5yr Warranty New 4th Gen Intel CPU ECO Mode

well there are a lot of new 1600 watt PS out.

not everyone really knows yet how good they are they probably rely on the name brand, I have read a lot, I was advised to stick with EVGA and not go Rosewill....so I'm going with the Best of Evga
sure it's almost 100 bucks more, I would rather have the best of the best it's the Life line of the computer system....
thanks for the Help if you want to add something here
    Thanks Eagle101

EVGA is killing it with their PSU's right now. Bang for the buck, their highly touted gold G2's are awesome and cheap. Can't go wrong with their platinum flagship, though.

I have been overclocking for 2 years in a Lepa 1600w gold. During quad 480 runs with my 3930k at 5.2 is was pulling 1700+ watts from the wall sustained for several minutes at a time for hours and hours of benchmarking. It didnt make any noise or falter once in the 2 years ive had it. It would be impossible for me to pick any other 1600w power supply.

Good thing about EVGA is if you need a RMA they are very good about that stuff.

I was looking at Leper and enermax i'm the 1st one to get this from newegg when I called:

    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817438037

to me its like getting a brand new car battery, once you have it everything starts working better, my kingWin mach1 1200 watt is getting old
I even got a power supply tester today at Fry's I will plug in 1st just to make sure before I hook up to computer.
    I hope i'm impressed

works really really good........had a few small problems with my phase.change left out a molex connector that gives a signal for off and on to the power supply.
the computer now runs much much better....like getting a new 450 cold crank amps car battery.......I got this just to have a good ps...
it was worth the money for me, im Impressed....

the cord for sure is ment for 220v ac
