Raid Controller for P67 Motherboard

Hi all,

I am looking to buy a new RAID controller that is compatible with an EVGA P67 FTW motheboard running Windows 8 x64. I tried an Adaptec 6805, but was not able to get the controller to boot. I am looking for something that supports 8 or more drives and has an onboard processor. Any information and advice would be greatly appreciated.

Areca 1880/1882/1883 works in most setups.

I tried Areca 1880 ix-24 in p67/z67/z77/z87/z97/x58/x79/x99.
