New job, sort of

I'm not sure, just started investigating since it's driving me nuts. I was tethering via USB, but once I did WiFi tether it was fine. So for some reason high CPU load is killing my USB speed I guess.

Just a quick test...

Prime95 running
Wifi tether 20mbps down, 20mbps up

Prime95 off
Wifi tether 20mbps down, 20mbps up

WCG is the same on WiFi

Once I use USB tether though it's about 15mbps down and 2mbps up with prime or WCG off. Once I start either Prime95 or WCG it's like 1mbps down and up.

edit: I got it fixed, did some mods on my phone all is well now

Haha not yet, but there's a server I'm going to use as a sand box so I will probably add to the collection. It's a blade, 6 core Xeon. Also a few more i7's. I'm getting a new office Saturday so it's going to be filled with crap!

I'll buy the first round when you fly by... assuming you slow down long enough to drink it!
