There aren't many Kingston reviews out there, but looks like Hynix MFR to me.

    i am reviewing 32GB

    http://www.ocaholic.ch/modules/xcgal...php?album=3724

D-Sided MFR and very good 8GB modules... OC potential is not really bad, i assume 4GB sticks are even better.

ok thanks for the link google doesn't reference ocaholic here, dunno why...

Edit: these are 2600CL16 not 2800CL14. I'll search on ocaholic too
Are all the Kingston predator DDR4 kits made of hynix ?

I just uploaded pics 1hour before posting here, will publish the review of this kit next Monday.
    It's 2400c15 1.2 4x8
I guess all the DDR4 you buy in this moment are hynix except crucial which uses micron.

Yes they are all Hynix and I would say 2800/14 @1.35V is pretty similar to 3000/15@1.35V.

    Predator 2800 are 14-15-x / Predator 3000 are 15-16-x

    the G.Skill F4-3000C15Q... ones (that i own) are 15-15-x

I followed the IC analyser of the asus RVE and concluded that i have samsungs IC's.

I am a bit confused really.

I can guarantee you they are not Samsung

Hynix for sure, it's up to vendors to fix the XMP timings.

As Marmott said they are definitely Hynix not Samsung. The IC analyzer can't really tell what IC it is truly using, it tries a few things and takes its best guess.

Very interesting, considering Kingston traditionally seems to get the weakest OCing ICs of the big memory vendors.

Yes for an everyday use certainly,
but i meant for high frequencies and thight timings in benchmarks it looks less like an interesting kit to get.

16GB of gskill 3000C15 or 3200C16 for OC and tight timings is the way to go.
