One of the great things about the OUYA console is that you can side-load Android apps* on to it, greatly enhancing what you can do with the machine.

BOINC is one such app. Available for Android devices (as well as PC and Linux), it allows you to use your device?s processing power to help great causes, such as investigating potential cures for AIDS and cancer, researching more efficient solar cells and even more nutritious grains of rice.

Hmm... performance? Power consumption?

I'd love to support crunching on ARM systems...
(Anyone try to get BOINC running on a Google TV? I've put minimal effort into it, but should really try harder...)

Might have to get one just to play with (In December )
