Hey guys, just a quick one - what updates would you like to see to the sticky threads?

I'd suggest first to review the existing ones and unstick those which are outdated (i.e. app_info, etc).
Then maybe add some actual info about ongoing projects, knows issues, best practices, etc.. Things like - if you're after PPD, avoid FAAH now, because...

    And combine some:

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...hosts-database and http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...nd-member-rank can probably be brought together somehow.

http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...app_info-files is great to keep but not relevant until we have a GPU app again - and could probably be listed under http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ity-Grid-BOINC

Is this still active: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...ggs-click-here ?

Also, hopefully once we get a full site up for this stuff we can simply link to that with 1 sticky instead of having all of these. The rest I vote keep as is, but could have overlooked something...

Has anyone else noticed that it's now $1 to register on this forum now?

Yeah, that needs to go away IMO... highly discourages new members, which we desperately need...

I thought it was $1 for instant access or free if you wait a few hours . In any case, I get a database error when testing it, not good

If that's the case it's not as big of a deal, but it should be specified better because this is the message I get:

    Which says it's $1.

I also get a database error when trying to connect...

So both of those should get fixed!
