    Car Amplifier Too Hot

    Hello Everyone,
I am new here, I hope I can stumble across someone who knows a fair bit about Car Audio.
    Here is my predicament.

My Car: 2005 Corolla (80 Amp Alternator Stock + New Battery in the winter) 160,000 km
    Head Unit: Aftermarket Sony Something

Wiring: 4gauge (ground very very well in the trunk area)
    Amplifier: GM-A5602 450w RMS 4ohm bridged (900w MAX)
    Subwoofer: TS-SWX2502 300w RMS (1,200w MAX)

My gain is set to normal which I guess is 2.0volts.
My head-unit max volume is 50.

When I play songs with good bass at 28 Volume with 10+dB subwoofer volume my amps gets really really hot.
So hot that one second with my hands on the side it would burn my hand for sure.

I have it set up bridged like this.
    (+)(-)(+)(-)
going to the + and - of the subwoofer

I am going to check the voltage while the bass is hitting hard tonight and see if it is a lack of voltage problem.
No burning smells yet but when I put my nose close I can smell warm electronics.

What do you guys think the problem is?

the problem is, there is no internal fan to cool the fets so its heat soaking to the chassis. this is a known issue with these amps.

You can wire in some desktop fans to pull heat from your amp.
