Wow... only 6/10 top posters are in the WCG team? For shame guys! For shame!

PG - you want to teach a how-to to get people more active? We can call it: "How to be an (Irish) loud mouth!"

(Going to owe him more than one beer for that one... and I didn't realize I was such the jabber mouth myself...)

24 hour prime stable? Please, I'm 24/7/365 WCG stable!

So you can do Furmark, Can you Grid???

You're getting a bit sassy laddie. Tell ya what. Just to show what a reasonable chap I am just have them drop off a few of these at the house and we'll call it even.

As to yer question I have but a few words to say to the lurkers. "Quit being so fooking lazy".

Actually it is more about being interested and feeling you have something to add to the conversation. A thanks, thumbs up or lol helps more than I think ppl realize.

Guinness? Not bad, but I'd go for shiner... Might be a Texas thing...

And having something to add? I'm just a "fooking" loud mouth apparently...

When you take into account the number of posts that were in reply to mine it would seem that the forums are all dead.

Look at the total number of unique users who visit, and who post. Then the total number of posts. (Preferably in the DC Teams sections - those are the only ones I really care about... though apparently having an active news section tends to keep people around too...)

And if we stop talking about how dead the forum is we might get more people back - people don't want to join a dead forum. We're doing all the right things to bring it back - lets get things updated (Stickies, how-tos, other website) and then start breathing life back into it by ramping up involvement in production and lots of posts... but no one is going to stay when things are so out of date! (I mean threads that haven't been active in Months on the first page? - and Stickied!!! Plus the set-up isn't current, etc, etc...)

I'd love to help out and do more, but I'm stretched extremely thin currently. Over christmas break I can help revamp anything left, but hopefully we're on the tail end of things by then!

Since we are trying to uh, revitalize the forums, I wouldn't say raise the dead as that might be offensive to the sensitive types and I would NEVER offend anyone, I will just say I hope you have a plan and know what you are doing.....

    CLEAR!

I still do not know how to feel about my rank. I'd prefer I was tops in RAC and not "quickest at the keyboard".

eh, it's the only thing I'll beat OC and Stoneageman in except maybe old age.

Nope - had the same problem. I'm hoping upgrades! (But probably just being optimistic...)

It's been quite a long time since I last posted here (I am reading the news daily now though) but it has to do with a lot of things that happened between me and hardware during the last years. This and my other "sick" Home Cinema hardware hobby.

Nonetheless, I getting ready to get back to high-end hardware withing the next 6 months since my Q9550 won't cut it for content creation applications anymore. I am glad that one of my favorite sites is still kicking around and I will also try to post sooner now!

P.S. My Hardware signature needs updating - yes my PC is old but it at leas has a GTX780 and a Samsung 840 pro SSD compared to my sig. Ah and 8GB of RAM that Photoshop and 3D apps eat up real fast now.
