They'll be coming, top cards always get priority though. EK said on FB that one of their 670 blocks actually fits the 970 (not sure which version tho), so there is always that too. 970 is so low power though there may not be many who make blocks for it.
My reviews live here: www.extremerigs.net, you can also find me on facebook.com/extremerigs, youtube or even effin twitter
Project Thief - SB-E and Gulftown in one massive watercooled build, 9 rads, 2 cpus, 5 gpus, 2 psus, 8 pumps
There's some 670 compatibility talk here: http://www.overclock.net/t/1514042/g...k-on-a-gtx-970
Personally I would buy a short PCB GTX970 and use an EK Thermosphere. They look awesome and I doubt the VRMs run hot enough to require anything besides a simple heatsink.
I run water cooling to keep my rig nice and silent.

A pic of a Thermosphere for reference. There are some GTX970s that have a short PCB like my GTX650Ti Boost. A GTX970 doesn't pull much more power and a similar heatsink for the VRMs should work.
VRAM doesn't really require cooling these days. It doesn't even run warm.
There is the Watercool HEATKILLER? GPU-X? GTX 970, but you have to check if your card uses a reference pcb layout.
And there is also the Aqua Computer aquagraFX for GTX 670 / 760 / 970 G1/4.
And also saw CaseKing selling the gtx 970 with a EK waterblock, so went to check it, and EK lists the compatible cards.
