I know they vary, but for those of you have tested the new 8 core FX chips (8370/8370E/8320E), where does the stock CPU Vcore usually fall for each model?
I had planned on getting the 8320E (because it's in stock locally), and returning it if it didn't clock well...
After re-thinking that, it just seems a little too shady for me. That's just not my style and I'd feel guilty returning a chip just because it didn't meet my OC expectations. As of today, my local MicroCenter still only has the 8320E. However, the Columbus MC has all 3 and it's only 100 miles away, I could easily drive up there this weekend...
My water cooling is well above what any AIO is capable of, and the 8370 is actually $20 cheaper than the 8370E.
When you figure in the fact that the base clock of the non-E version is quite a bit higher the VID's would seem to be a serious consideration in my eyes...
Sorry if I'm being a pest to the hardcore guys (The Stilt/Flank3r), but if stock VID between the 8370/8370E version is similar, I'm pretty sure my rig could handle temps better...
Just trying to make the best decision on the first try...
