Stock VIDs on the new FX chips

I know they vary, but for those of you have tested the new 8 core FX chips (8370/8370E/8320E), where does the stock CPU Vcore usually fall for each model?
I had planned on getting the 8320E (because it's in stock locally), and returning it if it didn't clock well...

After re-thinking that, it just seems a little too shady for me. That's just not my style and I'd feel guilty returning a chip just because it didn't meet my OC expectations. As of today, my local MicroCenter still only has the 8320E. However, the Columbus MC has all 3 and it's only 100 miles away, I could easily drive up there this weekend...

My water cooling is well above what any AIO is capable of, and the 8370 is actually $20 cheaper than the 8370E.
When you figure in the fact that the base clock of the non-E version is quite a bit higher the VID's would seem to be a serious consideration in my eyes...

Sorry if I'm being a pest to the hardcore guys (The Stilt/Flank3r), but if stock VID between the 8370/8370E version is similar, I'm pretty sure my rig could handle temps better...

Just trying to make the best decision on the first try...

I don't have the official production data for these, but the variance appears to be very small.

    FX-8370E = 1.15000V - 1.20000V (for 3.3GHz)
    FX-8370 = 1.30000V - 1.33750V (for 4.0GHz)

The stock voltage gives you a slight idea about the leakage, however alone it cannot be used to determine if the chip is a good one or a bad one in its leakage class.
Ideally you would want to have a combination of ultra low leakage (for conventional cooling) silicon with ultra low stock voltage

I have something around 1.2 V. Its awesome, with my decent cooling I can cool it up to 1.5V for stress test and

    This will like you:
btw, I have this as max with 1.42V cpuvcore

you are a diehard Amd fan to be willing to drive 100 miles for the 8370e. rock on Dave!

hope you find your unicorn chip!

    Thanks for the info folks!

tbone8ty: I've been known to just drive to nearby cities for the fun of it, so 100 miles isn't really that far...

My local MC now has all the chips in stock and have actually dropped the price of the 8370E to $189.
I'm going to run up there before work today and grab one. Hopefully it'll do a little better than my 9370, if not, I'm sure it'll be entertaining for a few weeks...

    Thanks again,
    Dave
