    DDR4 OC Corsair - GSkill - Adata - Crucial

    Corsair up first

    Vengeance LPX XMP 2666C15 XMP 2800C16 (3000C13 1T)

I had a hard time on Gigabyte X99, this board did not have firmware 25 implemented in bios. I could not get the memory up to speed. I will test with SOC and new BIOS later)

    Decent CPU performance

Stepping over to the Asus RVE - HUGE difference

5.5Ghz on 3 stage cascade, Corsair delivering strong.

Adata 2400C16 32GB 8x4GB kit (2666C13) Shows how far behind the Gigabyte board is.

    Crucial 2133C15 4x8GB 32GB kit (2666C12)

Gskill 3200C16 16GB Kit "Ripjaw 4" (3400C15) Testing out past 3400, dialing in.

Where are the GSkill results? I am still producing results and the bulk will be in that tread.

The Corsair have a ton of headroom, they can be pushed above 3k with similar timing.

The GSkill are binned to the max speed and have very little headroom above max speed.

Both are capable of the same timings so far. Gskill is the better bin, Corsair have better XMP profile, I was able to squeeze more bandwidth from the Corsairs at 3k.

I have tried upwards of 1.7v pushing Hynix MFR.

The Micron single sided are crap, a cheap PCB and are capable of 2400Mhz on average.

Micron double sided are with better PCB, they are built far better than the single sided. 2666C12 should be common. Micron at that speed will deliver higher bandwidth than the Gskill or the Corsair. Its a dual rank dual side performance boost.

I have pushed up to 1.7v on the Micron, not much gain after 1.5v. Voltage will not help Micron break 2666Mhz, they top out around here and there are a few 2800Mhz modules to be found with binning.

The Adata 2400C15 are single sided Hynix MFR 2400Mhz and they will not clock much above that.

I have not tested Samsung yet.

I really like this Corsair LPX kit, there are Hynix MFR single sided under the heat spreader and mine do not like going over 3Ghz with XMP settings. Loosening can get 3200Mhz.

I pushed up to 1.75v and they keep scaling, I wanted to go for 1.8v+ but I am on air.

5.2Ghz on air 8core 16 thread enabled with sensors up.
I am booting into widows at this speed.
If I disable HT this chip does 5.4Ghz for screen shot on air.
