Have done initial testing, and "WOW" this air-cooled chip outscores my 6.2g 4930k in PT, OMG
Who in the world created such monster chip for daily end users!
R5E is fine tuned for the new era of DDR4 and I have had no problem clocking memory.
I always use "mode 1" for 1T if you will. The memory profiles provided in bios makes thing so easy.
All you need to do is to select the right profile for your DDR4 and adjust the sub-timing a bit and good to go !
PWM is good to handle such monster. I dun need a power fan at all
Air cooling isn't easy for benching Godzilla. I needed to turn on the air conditioner and clocked it down to 23c.
Thx to Godzilla, my power bill will come with a big number end of the month. But, who cares?
