    Hello

As with most all international corporations ASUS is divided into inter-corporation companies based on location. These separate entities have fixed resources and budgets for support of their area of responsibility. Raja is employed by the N.A. division and his support for the most part is required to stay within that region. Any disagreement with this would best be directed toward ASUS HQ not on a non-ASUS forum.

    M31, enough already.

A firmware update for xonar or driver update, something conflicting most likely.

Just post a fix request when you have a problem with parts in hand, as of right now you are trolling Asus with your frustration in trying to get answers and I do no see if going well.

Quick update on the soundcard issue; temporary workaround is to put the PC into sleep / hibernation after a cold boot, wake it up again and the card works.

For the record, a rep of Asus Australia has contacted me by PM and make a very generous offer to replace CPU, mobo and PSU and take the old parts off my hands to try and work out what went wrong. As the retailer now has the old parts it's uncertain whether this will be possible, but this is excellent customer service which should be publicly recognised and I'm sure as hell going to try.

Really good job folks, well done. You've just earned a repeat customer.

If its freezing in UEFI it's unstable. Are you loading XMP or configuring DRAM settings yourself? XMP should show 1.35V on auto when it is applied and the system has been reBOOTed.

Do the freezes occur when at complete defaults and memory is left at DDR4-2133 (auto) after clear CMOS as well?

If so check the DRAM is not faulty. Also check if the kit has been programmed properly by Corsair. There are some LPX kits in the wild with missing profiles etc. If that's the case you will need to RMA the memory kit.

If that checks out, check each DIMM individually and see if you can locate an issue.

No Im not loading xmp leaving it on manual. cpu voltage is on auto and dram voltage I set to 1.200v. I set memory to 2800 which is the default for this specific one. I've run several memtests without errors. Cleared CMOS a few times as well.

    Try the following:

    1) Disable anti-surge in UEFI. See if that affects anything.

2)If number one does not help: Re-seat CPU. Try again. See what the OS shows in event viewer error logs.
