Is there any reviews the 5960x vs the Xeon E5 2867w? Because I'm currently running one and would like to see the results, though I would love to ditch my current X79 setup for a nice X99 setup but not sure if its worth it.

Thanks for that, as I expected, not much of a gain if I upgrade to a 5960x but I really want to ditch my X79 setup because I really hate the chipset, but I'll decide to upgrade when the time is right, I just wish older 2011 CPU's were compatible with X99 but of course, Intel wants you to buy a whole new setup, more profit for them.

Once upon a time there were extreme overclockers that would take such items under liquid nitrogen straight away. Benchmarks such as content creation and gaming on air or water were ignored like dust on the shelf compared to the max freq and memory numbers. Do such extreme legends still exist? Max freq to run superpi?
