    Lga 1366 bsel mod available?

I'm thinking of getting say a Dell Precision T7500 Dual Xeon 1366 X5650's and I wasn't sure if I can mod them to higher clocks in any way?

    Thanks

socket 1366 all run 133mhz default base clocks so no bsel, there is nothing you can do to overclock them unless the MB lets you change the bclock and there was some that did for it.

On the SR-2 board you can. I remember people getting at least 4.0Ghz. I think one of the ASUS x58 boards also allowed OC'ing.

Ok I guess I would need a new board? The T7500 has zero options in bios?? Idk yet since I haven't bought it yet.

I guess if clocked at turbo clocks 3.06ghz on all 24 threads it should get quite a bit of work done right?

    Thanks
