    Advice: GTX780TI OC or non-OC

    Hello,

I have a custom watercooling setup, and would plan to buy a watercooler for the new GPU.

As I already plan to overclock it anyway (and can usually easily do with the watercooling setup, temp-wise), should I go with the OC-edition of the card and then OC some more, or just save the money and buy the regular edition (about 100? cheaper, the price of the watercooler) and overclock it to the OC-edition or above?

What card exactly? KPC and Lightening's are better built cards, Asus also puts a lot of engineering in OC editions not just a better heat sink and slightly higher default clocks but built on reference design. There is some binning in OC editions too, depends on the card mfg.
