The main thing I am trying to fix is the encoding, it requires database export and import.

A painful and lengthy operation.

I switched off the backup server this morning, still without Unicode fix.

We are now back on the main server, I had to restore from backup to save time.

The backup server had 16300 hours (two years on) with 56 total restarts on the SSD.
