Does Intel Desktop Board DB85FL Support Devil's Canyon?

Does anybody know if the new I5 4590 is supported by that motherboard?

I already checked the http://processormatch.intel.com/Proc...entName=db85fl and it says it doesn't but truth is, it might be supported, don't have any http://www.anandtech.com/show/8079/i...690k-and-g3258 to test it out, hope somebody has an answer to this question.

    "Purpose
This download record provides three options for updating the BIOS of the Intel? Desktop Board DB85FL. You only need to download one.

This BIOS includes support only for processors launched earlier than April 2014. Refer to http://processormatch.intel.com for processors compatible with your Intel? Desktop Board. This site also lists third party motherboards that support the latest Intel processors."

No, Intel has stopped support for their motherboards, except for bug fixes. They even refused to release a BIOS update to support IVY Bridge-E on their X79 boards last year.

Thanks, that was pretty bad, I know they will stop their motherboard products this year, now I will have to sell it and buy a new one.
