Hi all, just thought I would share my little work log. Hope you enjoy it.
Hi all, just thought I would share my little work log. Hope you enjoy it.
Started out with gutting the case.
Ready to start on the light box.
Building out the framework for the light box.
Initial test looking good.
Picked up some crafter's foam & started working on the outer panels.
Mockup on the panels done. Lighting test looking good.
Moved the HDD/Power lights to the roof as Aircraft Warning Lights. Re-mounted power & reset buttons on top too.
Tearing the case down and painting.
Reassembled!
Time to put parts back in.
Even got a little car mouse to go with it.
Some final touches and funky colored-lighting pics.
Hope you like it!
Absolutely fantastic looking! Modern and super classy.

Wow, very cool! Can't imagine you'll have issues getting a few little sponsors for your next build with more befitting guts

Wow, that's beautiful and functional. Yet it starts with the kind of case most of us, (myself included), just throw away as junk.
Thanks all for the kind words. I'm in the process of updating the hardware now, so stay tuned. Hope to have an update soon.
Fantastic build, man!!! Very imaginative!!! Excellent work !!!!
Great job. You have awesome modding talent.
Thanks again for the nice words!
Finished most of the external work. Starting to dig into the parts. Had some stuff arrive this week. Some gear and some parts for taking better pictures.
I'm in the process of ordering the CPU & memory. Also have a line on a PSU & some cooling. Hoping to get stuff installed sooooooooooon.
Project complete! Final update on pics.
