Found a way to over-volt all ATI cards with correctable problems...

I have ATI Radeon HD 4670 AGP 1GB and in the bios only 1.250 is the highest volts in the BIOS Voltage Table.

What I did was noticed it idles at 34-35C at 1.250 volts according to the bios.

So I set all clocks other than "boot" to --- volts and 0 clocks on the additional clocks other than "boot". I then set boot clocks to 800mhz and 1.35, rather than the table max is 1.250. The 0 at the end matters since I set 1.350 and I save and re-open it always shows 1.35 and doesn't show as 1.350.

This is all done in RBE with any other known to be hard-mod only.

I booted up after flashing with atiflash in dos, and instantly notice I am now idling at 45-46C at idle.

The bios does not display the voltage but it's clear it's operating at a higher voltage.

Though it's sitting 10C hotter than 1.250, it reverts to "internal" or "recovery" clocks which are written in the bios file. The base recovery clock is 750mhz core, 800mhz memory which is default 3d clock. Anyway I'd like to get it to allow the bios written max since GPU-Z shows my custom clock in "Default Clock" but shows default 3d clock in "GPU Clock".

Basically all I need to do now is determine the hex location of the 1250 is 04 E2 and according to what may have said it's backwards so that 2E 40. So if I want to change it to 1350 i have to change to 05 46 backwards is 64 50.

Only problem is I can't find it exactly as 2E 40. All I have found being closest is at 04 2E...

    Maybe you guys can help?

    Thanks
