    4930k @ 4.8 w/ R4BE @ 1.4v with SS Phase

My load temps are in the teens and low twenties with hyperthreading on for all six cores. My core 5 is the hottest. Is this about right? The phase is rated for 300w @ -30c. The evaporator head is still at ~-38c from -50c just running the phase. If my math is right, that would mean the CPU is outputting 55c-64c of heat in reality.

I tried a little jump by raising the BCLCK to 101 and instant BSOD in Prime at that voltage. It runs 4.7@1.35 fully stable, but I have a feeling I'll need at least 1.5+ for 5 GHz. Someone told me it took them 1.7v to get 5.3. I've never had this question before because it has never come up, can you set the VTT higher than DRAM voltage? I'm under clocking my RAM now and only running two sticks in dual channel, so the memory controller isn't working too hard on my CPU now.

Did you test that cpu , with normal cooling ? (air-cooling-w/c)
    How did it perform ?

It looks like you have a below average cpu.

You dont need to set your VTT that high.
There's no real need to go over 1.25

I agree it seems like a pretty bad chip. My 4930K runs at 4.7 at 1.4 on watercooling.

Also agree you shouldn't need more than 1.25V for VTT

if thats your 24/7 setting then your chip is under volts stress and i dont think it will even be stable at higher than that.
