1429 6-10-6 is the new standard now
Bit of a thread Necro, as is usual for me, but I think I'll be posting some results here in not too long. Have some PSC and BDBG on hand, and some BBSE on the way.

Long time no see! Finally getting back to testing again
A hair under 300ms behind PB with the older hardware, suspect bios (which is 2.00, not 1.80) or just 4790K is the cause for the time penalty
Really hope it isn't the latter, because I have a much stronger chip and would like to use it for screens here.
Not sure if core or IMC but these core clocks are not stable through Aida mem bandwidth tests :/

It's been a while, y'all! Good to be back! Been having a lot of hardware struggles over the past year or so. Finally found a reliable motherboard/CPU/mem pairing. Had to recreate and retune my OS to beat my PB from a while ago. If anyone needs a copy of it for testing, feel free to shoot me a message wherever you know me
Found a QE6S from China, already seems good without delid. It'll pass with lower volts but I didn't minimize for reliability's sake. Hoping that I can get one of my CPUs to do 50/50 on air, though I think that'll need a 4790k I haven't posted here yet.
Scores still seem kinda inconsistent, especially with anything other than this Samsung profile. I'll get it figured out though, I have a metric ton of memory to bin.

Still a couple hundred ms off my goal, but still pretty solid! I'll take it. Moving on to 2860 next!

Crazy that C-N was doing .375 with settings similar to this, wonder what I'm missing. Had some runs that looked like they'd be .7xx-.6xx. Also had some 2900 runs about halfway through that probably would've been .4xx, got more instability beyond 2.17vdimm.
Base clock fluctuation is annoying. I need to set 99.9 to get 100, 102 to get 102.1, and it still fluctuates down.

Got a new OS from another user, after some optimizations it seems much better. My 2800 time is nearly matching my previous 2860! Accidentally forgot to open my SPD tabs on that second screen, oh well.
Also figured a workaround for the bclk fluctuation issue. If I boot at a lower bclk and raise in OS with Rapid OC, the clocks seem much more stable. I also have a lot more granularity with bclk, allowing for changes of 0.05 effective, which weren't possible through the bios alone. This was not possible on my previous OS because of specific services that were disabled.
I still have a couple more aggressive tweaks to implement, though not sure if they'll give a significant enough gain to be worth it unless they decrease run-to-run variance, too.

CW on SSD is so much faster than HDD that you don't even have to do a wait timer. After ~700mb D to C and C to D, by the time you have SP32M window optimally set and all your services shut off, you're ready to bench.
Possible concern:
I had two boards (Z87M OCF and M7I) refuse to work with any of their SATA ports after running XP with SSD on chipset SATA and benching SP32M for a few weeks.
Not sure if it was just weird SSD issues but at least one board started working properly again in another users hands.
Haven't had this issue at all on Z97 OCF, but just in case I've been sticking to Asmedia SATA for SP32M since.
