Not running on all cylinders ??

Have a friend with a bloomfield that seems to run with 3 rather than 4 threads.

Anyone remember any potential fixes for this ??

Yeah, Bios is set to run all

I had a weird chip that did that. No matter what I couldnt get it to load any more than two cores. I ended up resetting the bios and then reinstalling windows 7 and that did the trick.

Bloomfield is a mental hospital here, and "running on three threads rather than four" is an apt description of many of the patients

Maybe check Windows config (bcdedit) if all threads are enabled.
