....someone should start an "Old School Overclock Competition".
Something like limited to an old socket, run SuperPi 1M's or something.

I recall dropping $250 on a 1gb set of oCz VX and another $60 or so on their "DDR Booster" device! Managed to hit 250fsb 2/2/2/5 with a shiite presscott LoL

Burned a stick and scorched a MoBo slot, GOOD times! We don't need no stinkin' RAM coolers

oCz RMAd the RAM for me but sent me 4200 TCCD or TCC5 seeing as the BH5s were eol Still have most of that build somewheres.

Do you have some old validations to check? From my memory and checking HWBot the best scores were all made with 2x256MB of BH-5.

I like the idea, I have an Abit NF7-S v2.0, an OCZ DDR Booster and some Winbond BH-5 collecting dust...

Yes, I meant for extreme OC, for reaching the absolute best scores using 2x256MB of BH-5 is the best choice. Of course 2x1GB makes more sense for a daily driver.

I have an OCZ DDR Booster lying around, it didn't work with my DFI 939 boards though... Although the boards could push more voltage than the booster
