    Looking for Delid service

    I am looking for someone who does delidding. I don't feel comfortable attempting this, but would like to do it to my core i7 4770k. Please let me know.

    i think ive seen services on ebay, they arent cheap. but somone has to take on the risk.

    and thats a pretty big risk even for somone who has done it alot.

    I have delid a huge number of these. In fact I have a good 4770k delid sitting right here. If you want I'll just trade you straight across. Or I can delid yours. You assume the risk though

    A suggesting would be read the guides and examine the chip others have done for smt part location.
    Practice with a cheap G3220 first.

    fugger, some people dont trust themselfs. i personally wouldnt do my own 4770k even if i had done 50x chips before that one, as its not worth the risk of a tiny mistake burning that much of my money (ace123 knows how this feels)

    id personally just trade with ace123 as he is a good trustworthy guy. its easy and you get a good chip thats ready to go.

    Some people are more of a lurker and sponge. I come to this forum quite often and read much of what others say, but don't post all that often. As I learn more, perhaps I can give advice back some day. But, for now, I continue to need to stay on the receiving end.

    Certainly some thing I would not want to take responsibility for. I did mine last night with no issues. It is running over 20C cooler now. If you take your time it is not overly difficult, just be very patient.
