GridCoin .... to mine for WCG?

Anyway whilst searching for some ideas about ASIC folding I came across http://www.gridcoin.us/

So it's a digital currency that focuses on BOINC and WCG projects, and gives coin as a secondary benefit. I can see problems on the horizon, but I have to admit it is a cool idea.

I was skeptical on bit coin when that came out. Would be nice to get something for crunching but still not sure about this stuff. Seems like bitcoin in another dress. Will have to watch how this developes.

I have been watching Gridcoin with some interest. Their progress is kinda slow but that could mean they are doing things right and doing a lot of testing. I have seen what happens to projects that are rushed.

One I am doing now on my AMD cards is Einseinium coin or EMC2
