    Grease anymore?

I picked up a LD setup and the insullation directions are pretty much art eraser, neoprene, paper towel, and insullation tape. Will the pins not eventually get moist and damaged with nothing protecting them?

Maybe, depends on how much air you are trapping and whether or not that's any different than standard exposure to air seen in ambient conditions.

I've ALWAYS used dielectric grease though. Even with more modern insulation methods.
And I still find it easy to remove.... Just put the pcb in dish washer (no soap) then hair dryer and bag of rice.

Is there a preferred eraser brand? How many packages would you suggest for this?

I use Faber Castell eraser, mainly because is almost the one you can buy here (chile). For that I will try to pick up 4-6 units to stay on the safe side
