Please recomend me a new Monitor to replace my 6 year old 24inch Samsung syncmaster

I'm replacing my 6 year old Samsung SyncMaster 244T and would love to get some inputs as to what could replace it.

I can wait for this another 6 months no issues if needs be.

size must be minimum 29inch, I'll be using it for FPS mostly Battlefield 3 and 4

    What I would love is a 34inch Ultrawide 1440P 144Hz 1ms gtg response IPS

That does not exist right ?

Cash is not an issue, I'm planning on setting up a SINGLE graphics card I7, 780Ti 16gig Ram with 1gig SSD Pc. all will be overclocked on air only

    30" @ 1400, I don't think that's going to look good.
    I'd rather buy a 27 @1440.

you mean to say at 34inches that resolution would not be high enough to give a smooth image?

but I don't think higher than that would not be very practical to be driven with a single card solution, even a Titan black or a 290x

Yes, that's it. Pixel density might be too low at such screen size.
I had the same doubts a year or so ago and I finally bought a 27" 1440 screen, and so far it's been a great.
    Anti-aliasing is almost redundant
It's a Dell U2713HM, I'm very happy with it but probably not everybody will say the same.

The only website I know of actually comparing image quality in a meaningful way is trustedreviews.

There's so much more than pixel density, reaction time and screen size. Looking at the type of panel is not enough.

May want to hold off for an Nvidia G-Sync capable monitor which will be available anytime now. Seeing as you will be gaming.

Most 2560x1440 screens are 27" I dont think there are any 2560x1600 that are not 30"..

A single monitor at that resolution works fine, I run 90-140fps for the most part on my 30" 2560x1600 monitor with a single 290x.
