    @ FlanK3r

    Nice FX-9590

How much V-Core did you use for 4,5 GHz and 5,0 GHz @ Prime 95?
And wich Steppin does they have?

Here you can see different Prime95 runs from Germany

I dont use PRIME 95. Im use AOD stress test. Look at first page (undervolting)

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...=1#post5225417

btw, awesome temps from PRIME95 and wattercooling. Seems some highend watter setup. But only HT link is too low, default is 2600 for FX.

I prevere Prime95, because it heat & stress the CPU more

Is a hight HT good? I thing it brings no Speedup and only problems with stability

yes, it can help in some GPU bandwith. So with highend GPU cards or Crossfire it could help in some scenarios. I wanna try with 8370E try few test up to 3200+ MHz at HT

I search today an find this old review http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...Results-coming

There it scale good in Cinebench als also a little bit in Wprime and also Superpi1m.
But if the HT clock is highter than the CPU-NB clock, the points in Wprime and also Superpi1m go down

Furthermore, the results are from a low voltage competition wich you can see here

    http://www.hardwareluxx.de/community...m3-567063.html

There youmust reach certain clock speeds at lower voltage, to compare the processors well with each other

I think therefore he put down the CPU-NB to 2000, because then the CPU-NB uses less power and this remains cooler CPU when overclocking
So he could overclock the CPU better

Further i found out that the CPU-NB use less voltage lf tRC is high.
The Highest tRC in my Bios is 42
In Windows i can set te tRC up to 56 by using AOD, but i cant set an lower CPU-NB there i boot with the OS

Also i fiund out if you push the Processor ODT from 60 to 120 Ohms and the Refresh Cyclus up to 300ns, the RAM works with much tighter timings and less voltage

Now T1, tRAS of 18 and a Refrash Rate of 3.9us is absolutly no problem and also much other tight timings

Here you can see everything. The RAM?s are Kingston ValueRAM 1600 CL11 (KVR16N11/8) with Elpida 4Gbit xBxx chips @ 1.35V

I don't really think higher HT Frequency will help GPU very much. It helped with integrated GPU on G/GX series chipsets, though...

not much, but some step could be here.

techtrancer: with tRFC I know (but in SUperpi guys need the lowest stbale tRFC ). The ODT info is interesting. I never played with this. Thnaks for good information. What I saw at hardwaredeluxx forum, there are few very nice results in stable OC.

For higher CPU clocks, what I know, is better to have RAM at 1600 MHz, but of course for 24/7 performance I have personaly 2400+ MHz DDR3 (CPUNB the same clock and 1.25V at CPUNB). Its possible to get RAM around 2600-2666 for benchamrking, but its not easy. This tried The Stilt some times ago (I think).

Its nice Friday and my morning is about working at my PC. No crazy loads, only office, emails and sometimes take a look to the forums . Im going to lunch and I came back, my PC is frozed and in Coretemp I see temps 78 C! Wtf?
So hard restart, everything is OK and around 5 minutes " boooom", I shocked a lot, my tube at Swiftech H220 explozed :-D. The hole is not big, but watter flows out, I must shutdownd PSU...

There is hole, crack...I think one reason were temps at CPUNB and I think, there was some issues with pump in block...

    So, back to pure aircooling

SO sad to see this! Did anything else get damaged? I have the same cooler and it was an RMA. It cools well but might be a ticking time bomb?

I was lucky, all componments are live . Now Il send it to RMA too. The support team said me, it could be air bubbles inside...
