by average, the retail price for normal items like SSD, processor & handy, are slightly higher price than in Singapore (incl. 7% GST).

Be careful to search warranty terms before buying something if you need to take it to Singapore.

The exact reversed matter was into consideration for me, when a friend offered to buy for me a Samsung 840 Pro from China, i couldn't find a line in warranty terms to verify global validity so i bought from EU.

as the price including VAT is slightly more expensive than price in Singapore (inclusive of GST 7%). Some ebay shop can't really allow me to have the VAT refund in airport then I guess the components here are less attractive.
But AMD product and related vital components (motherboard) are more expensive than EU. Asus Crosshair V could be around 50 Euro more...

While things like SSD,memory card, etc are slightly more expensive if conversion of currency is included...

I guess the price for that board on ebay.de is for used product.

As for other matter, i think you can buy without VAT if you buy with a foreign ( out of EU ) VAT number. I am not an expert on these things, maybe someone else can help.
