What do you think of this build? Thanks for looking.

So my current rig is having some real issues and I can't figure out what the problem is since the error codes keep changing and point to different issues with almost all parts of the computer. It's also three years old and I'm a gamer. I use the living daylights out of my computers (even do some graphics editing now and then).

I have a newegg account too, though it isn't a huge amount, so I've been spending time on newegg trying to choose what I want. Let me tell you, it's been difficult. I actually have a large enough account with them that its very feasible to spend at least $500 on each item and it would be covered (I also got a pretty good raise at work recently so I can pay for it). But do I want to do that? Not really. I'd like to keep the total under $2000 if at all possible.

I'm not interested in overclocking as I quite frankly am way too tired from working so much all week to bother with it.

So here's what I was thinking, currently the below rig runs around $1200.

    Motherboard - ASrock Z87 Extreme6 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813157371
    RAM -Patriot Viper 3 16GB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-686-_-na-_-na
    Video Card - Geforce 770 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814133499
    Processor - Haswell i7-4771 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819116941
    Hard Drive - WD Black 3TB http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822236623

I'm debating on making the HDD a 4TB since I'm a voracious downloader and have nearly 10 GB of sims downloads alone (never mind all the movies and books and many other games) and would have more if I had the space. Currently I have an SSD boot drive and a secondary storage drive but I quite frankly find it really aggravating since the SSD drive doesn't have nearly enough space and I have to keep going back to clear it out. Everything insists on loading at least some things on the SSD and it's almost filled to capacity at all times. Quite aggravating. I've decided that I'd rather everything be loaded on to one drive, especially since it's so incredibly cheap to buy HDD now.

Being that I'm sick at the moment, I'm not thinking real clearly. I'm afraid I'm missing possible compatibility issues between the pieces so feel free to point out anything you see. In fact, I would very much appreciate it if you'd be willing to take a few moments of your time to look at it and make sure I'm not screwing it up somehow.

Also, if you have any suggestions for something better than what I have posted here, please let me know.

Oh and this will sound very silly, but I really loathe the color red unless it's roses. Yes, I know... how very girly and ridiculous, but it's true. Blue, black, yellow, green, are all better than red or orange so I won't buy anything with that color since the insides of my computer case are exposed due to a panel I can see through.

skip the 32gig and invest elsewhere. I could build a pretty ridiculous rig for 2000
    Asus Rampage IV Extreme
    4930k @4.875
    G.Skill Trident X 2666 Cl10
    Gtx 780 SC
    1600w Lepa Gold

    I changed some things.

    What do you think?

Oh and I intend on Windows 8 with this rig as it fully uses the Direct x 11 and above coding.
