Captherm Systems unveils MP1120 - CPU cooling just got cool again

CES 2014 - Captherm Systems unveiled a project today that the company put eight years into. The new MP1120 is a unique cooler with some very impressive features.

The cooler is already an award winner after taking a coveted International CES Innovations Design and Engineering Award.

The coolers base, filled with an unknown fluid, pulls the heat away from the CPU. Heat forces the warmed fluid into the radiator area where it cools and drops back down to the CPU cooling chamber.

Very very interesting. I'm assuming nobody that was there or has read on any sort of pricing? I'm assuming not cheap since their site looks like they are geared towards server/datacenters.

The demo box is installed on a consumer cpu/motherboard, so I think we'll be just fine.

How much heat can this cooler handle? Anybody found out? It would be impressive if it could keep a FX-9590 cool.

Indeed it is. Have to agree with that. We use it all the time in the beverage industry.

All we need some reviews how it compares to some cheaper water cooling kits. Off course more simple installation and too worry about any water leaks or broken pump also has some advantage.
