    At least 4x 2419's
    Some Arctic cooling Amd heatsink
2x quad core he 2 GHz 1207 opterons

Not great but not terrible crunchers if you can find a board

2419's wont work on 4p board unfortunately.

    2p chips.

DDR2 ECC FB memory is relatively cheap. DDR3, not so much if you want more than 2-4Gb sticks.

none of the crunchers we run have ddr3 ecc, especially the 2419's, that stuff runs slow as can be ddr2 eccreg

If we are looking to put a give-away together I had to take down an x58 rig ... EVGA SLI LE mobo, i7-920 C0 cpu, 3x1GB 1600C9 ram, I just can't justify running 4 rigs anymore so this gear is just waiting for a nice home. I have stock HSF and probably one from a 980X if there's interest I can dig it up. I might even be able to scare up an HD but I think it's like 10 years old ... was working fine until last month when I replaced it with an SSD.

If we can't coordinate a group effort within the next couple of weeks I'll start looking at PMs on February 1.

This poor fellow would only be interested in a socket 1150 i7 or an i7 with a motherboard. Would save me the $200 as i was thinking of upgrading soon

and now i have switched my little brothers rig to an i7 920 (only had to pick up 12gb of g.skill ddr1600) so that is a almost full time cruncher and will be moving my brothers old q6600 to his friends computer (for which im charging that he crunches for me, on his partents power!) and that one will be almost full time cruncher.

so i should be moving to around 28k ppd

    thanks snowcrash!
