i am getting a small mountain of cores and heatsinks etc here.. (not sure if anyone would even want tho, lol)
we gotta get one of these going again..
Quad socket board for $300, needs ECC memory too
How many points does one manage on it's own?
2419's wont work on 4p board unfortunately.
2p chips.
Regarding PPD - check first post here , i've collected some stats over time.

If we are looking to put a give-away together I had to take down an x58 rig ... EVGA SLI LE mobo, i7-920 C0 cpu, 3x1GB 1600C9 ram, I just can't justify running 4 rigs anymore so this gear is just waiting for a nice home. I have stock HSF and probably one from a 980X if there's interest I can dig it up. I might even be able to scare up an HD but I think it's like 10 years old ... was working fine until last month when I replaced it with an SSD.
If we can't coordinate a group effort within the next couple of weeks I'll start looking at PMs on February 1.
This poor fellow would only be interested in a socket 1150 i7 or an i7 with a motherboard. Would save me the $200 as i was thinking of upgrading soon
i3-8100 | GTX 970
Ryzen 5 1600 | RX 580
Assume nothing; Question everything
What kind of clocker is the i7 920 i have a 950 crunching now but won't do anything better than stock
Now where would the fun be if I ran my 3770k at the stock 3.5ghz oppose to the 4.9ghz 24/7 stable
haha, could be becuase ive never owned an intel processor better than a q9550
and these 2419's are the best amd chip ive ever owned lol..
im still living in 45nm land
shoot, if I got that 920 i think id actually be able to build a gaming computer, as ive been without one for almost two years that would be awesome lol!
I could probably donate an x58 board if it meant you played some games with me
and now i have switched my little brothers rig to an i7 920 (only had to pick up 12gb of g.skill ddr1600) so that is a almost full time cruncher and will be moving my brothers old q6600 to his friends computer (for which im charging that he crunches for me, on his partents power!) and that one will be almost full time cruncher.
so i should be moving to around 28k ppd
thanks snowcrash!
