    FX-8350 next one with 8 GHz+

Last days I had some fun with LN2. One day Haswell and one day Vishera. Haswells results are not good, average....So there are few results with my 4th FX-8350 1335PGN. SOme guys told me with WindowsXP could be better . I used win7 64 ultimate.

    First few photos from isolation...

    LN2 can begin!

    After few hours of tetsing

I wanted got Superpi 32M under 10 minutes. But I had many issues with "no exact round". I hate this result ...So I tried different settings of IMC, voltages, CPU clocks and DRAMs clocks. Still the same, CPU never crashed. Long, long time I thought about this issue. Friend Der8auer told me it could be some wet. I think, he had right. Longers runs were impossible and after removal POT...I had sealed not empty DIMs. Maybe a little droplett.

So I focused for 1M and max frequency....

I like it, this CPU really like lower voltages. 1.85 V 8100 MHz, 1.95 V this:

    Superpi 1M

    PiFast

I like FX for OC. Its fun for high clocks. Now I have minimnal 2 chips over 8 GHz. Thinking these are not my best chips. My best chips from air testing are still safe for rainy days...

Nice freq, but only ~2sec faster than my 9550 @ ~4Ghz

SuperPi is not a good metric for AMD IMHO

madmaxx, I know, but for extreme OC LN2 its fun. there are only few benchmarks from hwbot and this CPU (I mean this piece) is not ideal candidate for hard load as CInebench, wprime 1024 etc. So Superpi was the target .

Congrats bro.. this is very well done..
8.2ghz is mental.. and to run super pi at 8.1 is just beautiful
i was wondering about binning 8350 and was wondering if lower VID is better or worse ?
How would one go about checking the chips for potential ? low leakage or high leakage ?
    Cheers and thanks a ton

    Thank you guys, all.

My binbning is simply. Not always is low VID the best. But I found, the low VID chips like lower voltage (1.85-1.95 max) in LN2 than normal VID chips (1.95-2.1V). My binning methody is with air, simply setup 1.55V for validation and up to 1.55V for Cinebench if temps are OK. With valdiation at air Im testing CU0, CU1..CU3 and finding the best core unit. For Cinebench max stable run with up to 1.55 voltage. What I know, the good chips are around 5650 MHz 1.55V at air for validation and around 5200+ MHz Cinebench.

I have one chip with 5830 MHz 1.55V and 5370 MHz Cinebench 1.54V. But I safe it for worse times with LN2...It could be chip around 8300-8400 MHz maybe
