    Wasn't Hawaii originally meant for 20nm? Can they launch this on 28nm with good yields?

    I'd imagine this would be their answer for Maxwell on 28nm. At least it will force them to tweak the cooling. January/February should prove to be interesting.

    Wait, that's a huge increase in size for just a 20% increase in shader count

    Edit: It says reverse engineered silicon description. Is there even any truth to this at all? It's clearly not an official slide

    AMD would've disabled the extra shaders for yields, they may have kept some cards back that had the full amount of shaders working though.

    Hawaii has 37% more shaders than Tahiti.

    You do both know that these are just pictures of the 270, 280 and 290 cores right?
