If you are anything like me, you run pure deionized water in your Overclocking rig. If you have ran your fluid for any amount of time, getting some gunk or residue in your reservoir is inevitable. Here is my quit and easy method for getting it out fast and clean.
First you have removed your reservoir and drained it.
Now if you look close, you probably have some crap in there like this. Maybe less, some times a lot more.
This might sound a little weird at first, but go ahead and go to your pantry or cupboard and grab a bag of rice (not minute rice).
Grab a little handful of the stuff, and put it into your reservoir like this.
Now fill it up about one quarter to one third full of warm water, screw in your cap, and add a dab of Dawn or non ultra Joy (they wont leave residue).
Now take your thumbs and hold them over the nozzles and shake away. Shake it all around, Let the rice shake over every surface moving it in every direction you can. If it gets a little too sudsy, just let a little out and keep shaking.
Looking pretty sudsy in there..... keep shaking!
now let all the water drain out, its already looking cleaner eh?
now take it over to the sink and rinse the inside of it and shake clean water around inside of it until all the suds and rice are out of it.
Man... Looking good and clean as a whistle!
