    Thanks to all! :)

While the contraption isn't officially done; it has run. I'll be retuning and completing various parts of the details, but for all intents and purposes I'm done.

Just wanted to somehow "formally" thank everyone for the help (that literally spanned over a ridiculously long time) while I designed and built the machine.. Its not a Direct Die system, but I figured this would be the best forum to post since most everyone visits this one more than the chilled water section.

Lost of folks chipped in to the final product. From DetroitAC to RunMC... Lots of names to mention... this isn't an official tribute thread... so don't expect me to name them all.

So, thanks for helping me out (and ignoring my sometimes conceited attitude toward help...i.e. acting like I already knew...). The bloody thing is working! Finally! So I can now change my sig!!

    Cheers.
    Regards, Stew.....

not yet but I figured I'd pay my respects... before I forgot. Hehe

A lot of people around here contributed to what I put together. The oil separator, the pump down cycle... never would have thought about that on my own...

I guess I'm just in a really good mood. Think about it, I've been building this thing in one way or another for the past several years..... and finally it ran!!! Hehe

    I'm really happy for you

I didn't want to say anything while you were still in progress but I built a large project like that once only to have it turn out a flop. That was the main reason I was wanting you to give it a test run before you got the guts all wrapped up in surroundings. It's much easier to modify before you get it totally finished.
It was a great, massive project and you did a very good job. I know you enjoyed it. I hope it suits your needs well.

Now I just need to get the sucker to pull down to the temps I want. 30F is good, but I can do better. What do you think is the issue?
