    Next 4770K Stepping Release?

Is there anyway to find out when a 4770K C2 or D0 stepping CPU will be released to retail stores?

Where are you coming up with these stepping names? There is no mentioned yet anywhere that a new stepping will be released.

I suppose those "names" are just a guess from the OTS.

However, imo it is quite safe to assume that at some point there will be a new stepping, since Haswell will be the top mainstream CPU for at least 2 years.
I wouldn't expect a new stepping before the Haswell refresh launch in combination with the 9-Series chipsets though.

    My tips for HSWL refresh:

-better VCIN control, lower heat inside
-higher OC and "no coldbug" (the similar as Ivy Bridge)
-fix some bugs-> a bit higher performance (1-1.5% IPC), +100-200 MHz higher default clock for top i7

I highly doubt there is going to be a Haswell refresh tbh. People been waiting for this to happen with Ivy for months as well, and nothing did happen.

In about 6 Months, Broadwell is going to be released.

Some of the more recent Batches (L315 with smaller lot numbers) seem to be halfway decent overclockers though (4,5 Ghz around 1,15-1,2V). Same applies for some L317 CPUs.
