Is it because it's in China?

You guys dig that even with the black borders? It's nice at the cinema when they have a curved/masked screen but here i think it would also need a little more height.......and do you ever really look at the corners of the screen?

The black borders blend into the action, it's tough to describe, but, I like to use the nose analogy. Can you see your nose? It's there. If you stare at it, you see it. If you go about your business, it's not noticeable. I do look at the corners of the screen if there are HUD elements such as a minimap or menu, God forbid. This usually happens when a game is not fully optimized for triple-monitor resolutions.

I agree, you dont notice the bezels, especially if you hide your outer monitors behind your center, it all blends in.....

Played the beta for a few hours and it was pretty fun, but they have to improve the performance for sure. Even though I had over 120 fps most of the time with Ultra Settings, the FPS drops and minFPS rates were really horrible. I wonder how that mus even feel with a triple-monitor setup and such a high res.

Good hardware pron but horrible to play I guess.

Same with Mid Settings, where my FPS even went up to 200. Especially if you do a quick 360?C you can feel the FPS drops making the game really unsmooth.

However, im still on Winodws 7, friends with Windows 8 and 8.1 reported much less problems.

Might have something to do with the 'network lag'. There's a slider in-game that allows you to adjust network 'smoothing'.

They were having issues with punkbuster on pretty much all servers during the open beta. i'm sure that will be sorted out by release.

    Looks good!

I've just upgraded my Eyefinity set up ready for BF4, moved from TN monitors to IPS panels.

New CPU / RAM / Extra GPU

So looking forward to the 29th !
