thanks guys tbh no big deal.. this is on the 2nd z9 got this one for backup but had the same limits 102-103 on the first one.. im gonna have to try the 1st z9 again later on

same cooling the same 2 thermalright true coppers that ive posted in the z9 thread at news.. i removed the 290s (pcie3) and installed a single 580 (pcie2) and thats how it got to boot up to 114 into windows - got to witness 4104 (114x36)

gotta test some more seems to be pretty stable at 111 i could probably get it to run stable at 112 if not for the auto ram timings

theres something else id like to try out and if works ill let you guys know

OK will update charts, but a better SS would be nice (small & hard to read, no memory tab).

So what did you do to get a better score?, CPU and Bus Mhz are still the same, so what changed?

I tried the new active heatsink by noctua...which showcased at gitex
so I guess the thermal improvement..

And told me he will try higher..with the needed information on screen!

Wait a min,,.. this isn't even your PC?
Maybe it its just me but it just seems a bit tacky to be posting scores from other peoples systems, unless maybe you built it and are testing it before shipping it out the door.

Small improvement, upped the core-speed to 4.9 GHz but cut Cache-speed to 4.6 GHz. Still water cooled.

Thanks, using an Hailea water-cooler in the loop set to 17 C with ambient temps at 16 C(two big windows open on a chilly autumn night, 5 C outside)
