    A very thermally limited run.

The old Ultra 120 Extreme (with one of the pipes punctured) + a single Enermax Magma fan are simply useless for this kind a load.
It idles at 40 (at best) in 26 celcius ambients and in the middle of the run the temperatures are close to 60 already.

The first two units (CU0 & CU1) can easily pass CB15 at 5.2GHz (1.43V), the third unit (CU2) 5.1GHz (1.43V) and the weakest fourth (CU3) unit 5GHz at <1.4V, despite the unoptimal temperatures.

In FX-9 series scale this a low leaking part, however on FX-8 series scale it would have extreme leakage rating.

I have the same issue. CU0 and CU1 seems the best, CU3 very weak. I can run 4940 MHz Cinebench with 1.355V only (but CPUNB at stock) but for 5100 MHz I need 1.5V and Im at the limit of temperatures. 5150 MHz sometiems OK, sometimes error of Cinebench+BSOD.

Nice run with some decent V_Core for an 8350. The one I have is a real piggy when it comes to power.

thanks , yes, I could set a bit better RAM timings or +200 MHz CPUNB (but this could be more stress for CPU)

It's a real balancing act for the NB and all out speed I find. I think you were ahead of me in CPU speed but I had the NB at nearly 3000 if I remember right.

Received an Gigabyte GA-F2A88XM-HD3 FM2+ mobo today, first one that was available here. Also bought an cheap richland A4-4000. Max BCLK selectable in the bios is 140MHz so this is the limit beside memory timings.

Nice run for that cpu. You have to wonder what some L3cache would do to that score.

Is an lower NB clock than the HT clock no problem with with an FX-9590?
Because PII X6 does not like this

there is not the poroblem with FX. Only your CPUNB must be higher or the same as DRAM efective clocks

Must admit i expected more and i did noot know that BCLK overclocking is a mes with the onchip GFX enabled. On my setup i could not increase by 1 MHz or select anything higher that 1333MHz for the ram without an external gfx.
Edit: Hmm switched from VGA to HDMI now above settings work without an external gfx.
