    Ivy-E 3D11 Physics LCC

lets get this started. . .

    Requirements:

cpuz tab, memory tab, memtweakit or similar and completed physics window

4.5Ghz (+/- 5mhz) as most cpu's should do this on air

version 1.01 as this should yield the highest results.

    4930K/4960X Ranking:

PSC is pretty close, but still not good enough for the leader board

Hi man nice work ,what is max bclk for ivy bridge-e and air cooling ? what is your best bclk overclocking mate.

i have bought a 4820K ivy bridge-E runs with asus rampage iv extreme motherboard and 16gb G-Skill ripjaws 2133mhz cl11

and i have oced 185 Bclk yet, runs 4,7Ghz with 1,28v on air and super stable

Never tried much more than 1.66 strap, but it works along with all others with no discernible performance difference. I think memory oc is easier on 1.25 and 1.66 than 1.00 however.

My 4820K ran Cinebench at 5Ghz 1.47v all with cold air so maybe 4.8 for daily stable is achievable on a good air cooler.

Those memeory i have in my rig http://www.webhallen.com/se-sv/hardv...0_2133mhz_cl9/

and i dont use memtweak program for timings only in bios i change

Today, iam pretty happy have done 192 bclk on 4820K master PytonOrm this is crazy man i never seen a higher bclk oc on any sandy bridge-e or new ivy bridge-e either

    PSC back on top

So interesting physics 11, really sensitive especially to tRFC on this platform.

    My findings so far.
-Use low vDIMM, started at 1.92v and then tried 1.94v before realizing I was way overvolting and kicked down to 1.800v where it was happy as pie.

-You cant just lower every timing on ivy-e. For example tRFC 88/84/78 all slower then 96. 94 a little slower 108 a little slower but not the much of a performance hit. My advice is load the shammy profile and max out your mhz before touching the timings. The guys a wizard and knows how it should be set (for the most part minus the tWCL5 on the sammy profile but probably just because the UBER gskill lab kits lol).

-Latency Boundary set to further. Nearer wont boot for me on PSC, Furthest is around 16.5k, further seems just right.

-Third timings dont seem to do much, secondary not much either, seems its all about the primarys.

-tWCL 6 is very unstable for me, shuts the comp down 2-3s into physics test. Seems tWCL 7 is fast enough

    -Play RTL's later

-I feel like booting at 125.0 and raising bclk in OS is always faster for physics and cinebench etc then booting anything over 125.0 IE booting 125.1 to get 4504 I get consistently 1799*'s. Booting 125.0 and raising to 125.1 with OC panel consitently 1802*"s+

Guys, I am surprised there hasn't been more action in this thread, unless its because you three have smashed it lol

How much influence does 125 BCLK have on your scores? Im on my second 4930K and this one cant boot at 125 BCLK or any ram speed near 2666 , so the best I can get for physics is low 16k range ....

You guys with BE's, have you tested with R4E also? Are there gains from the new mobo? Or is it all in a good cpu?

I think memory oc is easier on 1.25 and 1.66 than 1.00 however.
    Is this true?

Edit: having said all that I just got mine running with higher CPU strap, but I still can't get it to post at 2666 .... So my best now is 16132 with 35x128.6 with PSC at 2400-8-12-8-26-2T
