AMD FX-6300 death, step by step :)
Hi guys,
I had two days of 32l LN2. Bad news are FX-6300 died and most of LN2 I used for one NDA CPU from "blue side"...Second day was the right day for FX. I had few options - 8.15 GHz FX-8350, second good air tested FX-8350, unknown FX-8320 and good air FX-6300. I gave my card for FX-6300. With air this CPU hit 5710 MHz and around 1.55V. My idea with LN2 was testing all cores first for the high clocks, without much DRAM and CPUNB improves. After this PScheck for the best cores (0+1) and hard superpi runs with CPU-NB around 3500-4000 MHz.
I managed only first step :-/...
Preparing:
But it was OK for first FX-6300 rankings . So the highest clock all cores at this clock 7 838 MHz 1.95V:

Two "good" Superpi runs:
and better results over 10.1s
I recorded last minutes of life FX-6300... I tried higher run with all six cores and 1.95V, got black and after nothing. Only LED CPU blinking. Another CPU working with motherboards OK...BIOS boot settings was 1.55V at CPU, 1.35V CPUNB, VDDA 2.6V and 6000 MHZ for CPU. I dont understand why this CPU died in superpi .
