Exclamation Rampage II Extreme "Detect New CPU" Every Boot

I cant overclock my CPU because every time I boot it detects a new CPU and resets the bios settings.

    Things Ive tried:

    - Replaced battery. Checked battery connection to board (solder point).
    - Replaced the bios chips
    - Tried different RAM.
    - Different bios (currently running latest - 2101)

CPU is detected correctly in the bios (Core i7 930).

Board was purchased second hand and some pins were bent during shipping. I straightened them back as well as I could (they weren't too bad) and Im reasonably sure they are making contact (CPU is second hand so cant tell by indents on the bottom).

Can a pin not in contact cause this? Should I try to re-straighten?

    Still no joy.

Anyone have a good way to check if all pins are making contact? I was thinking a crayola marker on the bottom of the CPU and mounting/removing and seeing what pins are touching. Unfortunatley, while the CPU would be easy to clean, the pins will not be...

Or, anyone know how to Mod a bios? Can I bypass the "New CPU Detected" feature?

BUMP! Anyone have a way to check to see if CPU pins are all touching? Current CPU is used so cant check impressions.

    Edit,

Found a $50 1366 Xeon on Amazon so figured that would make a good test.
