I had to look up Alcatel-Lucent. All I have to say is WOW! Aquiring someone else's patents then suing people that may infringe? Talk about the ultimate in scumbucket tactics.

you should be glad, here in Australia the costs are exuberant. then again our economy is kinda weird, an electrician will cost from $175 per hour + whereas in spain my cousin who is an electrician charges like 30 euros per hour.

I'm glad Newegg fights patent trolls but they have plenty of money to fight them. They also get reimbursed for their legal costs when they beat a patent troll, so it's not like they actually need the money to do the right thing.

You live in zero tax country? That 30€ he is billing will be more like 12€ before it hits his hands.

Well depends on his meaning. I mean companies can charge $150-250 per hour depending on the personal on site. Though what they really get paid? A hell of a lot less than that.

His cousin, who lives in Spain, still earns more than a Spanish engineer after taxes.

I can post links to job offers for IT technicians and engineers in Spain if you don't believe me.

    Cool

Here in Aus a typical house rent is $450-$500 per week. whilst a "tradie"(tradesman) at age 24 earns more than a bank manager.
If you want to get rid of someone...lend them some money.

" "There's good news and there's bad news," said Cheng in an interview with Ars. "The good news is, we won this case on every point. The bad news is, we're running out of lawsuits. There are fewer trolls for us to fight."
OMG the cojones on Lee Cheng. What a badass
