Yup. Pumps will die fast if they aren't bled properly.

I notice you have your system mounted "oddly"

Shouldnt be an issue in theory, but dumb things do happen.. is there a specified orientation of the pump/block in the manual?

All along the watchtower the watchmen watch the eternal return.

When I got the 2nd system I specifically looked for that and found nothing. But if you look in the first video I have the system lying on the table and the pump still failed so I'm stumped. I'll have to see what Swiftech says when I send them the latest vid.

Makes you wonder if they're pulling out of the US market because of patent infringement or high rate of failure. Cause I've never seen anyone fold to an accusation that quick.

I'm curious...I would add a gpu wb and tubing to mine if I ever got one anyway, so I doubt I would have any issues (I hope)

I've got mine mounted in my sidepanel . Tubes at the top of the waterblock . Of course I hope my pump doesn't die like yours , but i have to say i'm very happy with how the system performs .
When i move the pc to work on and put it back , the water is noisy for let's say 20 minutes . But once all the "air" is out it's quiet again .
    It's now running for 4 months .

I also did two RMAs of this kit, and had to get a refund. The first pump worked fine for a week, the second one worked for 20 minutes. Not good for a 'plug-and-play' kit.

The third one leaked on my Asus GTX 680. Swiftech didn't cover me with anything. Neither did the reseller. Which is a bit odd as it's being marketed as AIO pre-filled system. I've never had to leak test any Corsair or Antec closed loop coolers. But I had some luck, I cleaned the video card and it still works, I lost the warranty though when I opened it up.

How about I stick the word Asetek into the swear filter and anytime it's used it comes up as dancing banana's!

Maybe I should, but I believe many H220 buyers are water cooling for the first time, and thus it should be clearly stated that the unit must be leak tested before. Or at least they should cover it up if you haven't ever opened it. IMO takes away the point of having it pre-filled for a quick installation.

    False.
Partners at the law firms. A lot of the lawyers in Big law are straight out of law school with 100k in debt. They work 80-100 hours most weeks and make just enough to cover their loans, pay for an overpriced New York apartment and occasionally enjoy a little bit of their lives.

that's terrifying! Where did you buy your h220 from? I wonder if I can get a refund from newegg? I emailed swiftech almost 1 week ago and no response.

their support forums are filled with people with the same issue and on multiple RMA's, yet afaik they won't post the "instructions" online on how to fix these problems. They will only directly email them to you. I want a refund.

Swiftech is sending me another "new" one. I can do one of two things with the new one:
    1. Connect a reservoir to it. Which I think it needs more than anything. The reservoir on top of the radiator is too small IMO.
    2. Just sell it on ebay and buy a really good HSF and delid the 4770k.

Hmm, haven't read the entire thread but I have read some of it.

My x60 made some noise too when I 1st got it, I thought it might be bad.
But I let it run for a while, moved it around a bit and after a few runs it worked it's self out.
Been running fine since, made noise maybe twice so far for a sec or 2 after it's been installed but otherwise it's been ok.

You always wanna check for leaks anyways..
When doing so you would notice if the pump is making noise it's not supposed to.
Could be some air bubbles, or it might be some plastic from the threading, either way on my end it turned out alright.
But you can't just hook it up out of the box without checking it for 15min +/-.
That's just asking for trouble if you don't :\.

It's not worth the risk, nor I believe any company like this would compensate you for damages incurred.

But anyways, from what I have read in this thread and my experiences, leads to me to believe I wasn't the only one that had issues with quality of these 2x140mm units.
My h50 had no such issues, though it wasn't that great of a cooler either lol.

haha swiftech kit is so much better than the patent holder..

silly patent laws.. they just hold the world back from being better becuase the person patents somthing and thinks that that means they shouldnt have competition..
