no, if you have good FX-8350, you cant change it fot FX-9590....9590 are a bit better than average chips of Vishera, but thats all. Example I have 3x FX-8350 and all are better than borrowed FX-9590. All can run R11.5 at 5200 MHz 1.5-1.55V, the FX-9590 not.

PS:Still Im watiing for LN2, dealer was last week busy and we postponed to this week. I wanna try one new blue side CPU (NDA), Haswell (superpi, pifast, wprime, few quick 3dmarks) and FX Vishera (validation, superpi 1M/32M, wprime, Cinebench).

Think the FX9590 scalls betten on V-Core than the FX 8350

Does annobody knows more about the air temperature whan he bench the CPU?

My vid is 1, 475v but i don't know what is the exact turbo voltage.
My Crosshair set a "strange vcore" (1, 42v) but the system is stable at 4700; turbo is not running, i see only 4700 mhz ( i also tried to force turbo active but with no results).
Later i'll try with the last 1503 bios (actually i use the 1403).

Nice the V_core on that is great too. For my run with the 8350 @ 5533 I was nearly at 1.75 if you include LLC.

It's a bit difficult, there are more tests about 9590.
In theory 9590's silicon shouk be better but you want to overclock or you simply want a good cpu for everyday use?

Edit: my cpu reach 1,475v at default settings when in turbo mode.

All I had a chance to do was play about 5 minutes of tomb raider on it. I will check stability later I want to get it on my water cooler first.

seems nice. If this chip can run R11.5 at 5300 MHz 1.55V, it will be very good.

Mines torn back down I will hopefully have a watercooled run up and running shortly. Air cooled case has my CH3 and B97 in it :p

That air cooling gets the same temps as my H100i does. I do not know if that was really 24/7 good that was a quick dirty clock.

Is it worth it to get an FX-9xxx chip? I have an FX-8150 with an XSPC Raystorm and a 360mm Swiftech Radiator. I am debating whether to get am FX-8350 (I want a 990fx chip set motherboard and Microcenter provides massive discounts if I buy one with a CPU).

I can get an 8350 for $180, and the lesser 9370 chip for ~$300, perhaps a little less. Should I get a 9370, or just go with an 8350? I am concerned that the best 8350's because 9590's or 9370's, so the 8350 available now are chips that would not run stable at 5 gHz. With a triple rad I should be able to run a 5 ghz chip, right?
