How high would I have to OC my 2600K to equal a 4770K at 4.5GHz

After seeing overclocking results for Haswell I'm not sure if I would gain any performance upgrading my 2600K. From what I've read so far it seems that 4.5GHz is the average OC of non delidded 4770 cpu's. How high would I have to OC my 2600K to get 4770K@4.5GHz performance? Delidding is out of the question I just don't feel comfortable delidding a new cpu. I can't afford to screw it up because I'm poor. My 2600K is at 4.6 GHz at 1.296v and I can safely push it a little higher maybe 4.8GHz for 24/7 use. Thanks in advance.

More than you can do on water cooling is my opinion..and I'd tell anyone that has a 2600K that you have a excellent system and no need to upgrade now.
I ran mine at a mild 4344MHz for almost 2 years and one of the most responsive systems I've owned.

2600K cant match the IMC bandwith of Haswell nor IVY thats the main diff despite CPU speeds...

yeah the 2600k has been incredibly stable for the two years I've owned it. I have a large collection of compressed HD movies and I do a lot of video encoding with X264 and I'm really happy with the temps and stabilty of the 2600K. I just can't justify the expense of upgrading for a 20 to 30 percent increase in performance so I've decided to use the money I've been saving for an upgrade on something else. Maybe I'll surprise the wife with a weekend trip to Vegas and wait to upgrade when the the next gen cpu's arrive next year. Thanks for the advice guys.

Average gain is 10%,so 4500+4500*10%=4950,make it 4900 to feel more comfortable.Altough if you want some benches, the diff is higher...

In regards to benching my 4770K at 4500 24/7 clock scores about 12500 physics in 3D11, I had to run my 2600K at 5150 to equal that.
