EA DICE to Optimize Frostbite 3 Engine for AMD Hardware.

    http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/multime..._Hardware.html

With AMD hardware now powering Sony and MS consoles I suspected that game engines would be optimised for AMD hardware.
Looks like it is starting.... With the Frostbite engine.

Just 'cos it's legal don't make it right.

Yes there's many of us who think so:

We'll see though if it makes a difference or not. I don't mind DICE or EA though, both of them can go to hell

DI made an awesome pinball simulator for the Amiga... which I got very sore fingers from playing. As for EA they are hell.

EA and AMD have issued the following statement in response to IGN's initial piece on the subject:

“DICE has a partnership with AMD specifically for Battlefield 4 on PC to showcase and optimize the game for AMD hardware," an EA spokesperson said. "This does not exclude DICE from working with other partners to ensure players have a great experience across a wide set of PCs for all their titles.”

i call bull on the cpu, the jaguar uses traditional cores while every other part uses BD cores that will only do 1int and 1 float per 2 cores. i am sure since both consoles are using amd gpus there will be something there, but for the cpu they have no reason to deal with BD amd parts.
